Our partners are our achievements: ZARQAND at an international trade visit in Malaysia

From April 12 to 17, 2026, an international Trade Networking Visit (TNV) is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, organized by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC).

MPOC (https://www.mpoc.org.my/) regularly organizes international events and trade missions, bringing together food industry companies from different countries and creating a platform for interaction between manufacturers, suppliers, and industry enterprises.

As part of the visit, participants:
  • study the full production cycle — from plantations to processing and export;
  • visit leading industrial and logistics facilities in Malaysia;
  • take part in B2B meetings (BizMatch);
  • explore advanced industry technologies.
At the BizMatch session, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, Karomidin Gadoev, and the Chairman of the Food Industry Association of Uzbekistan, Bakhodir Umirshaikhov, were also present.

Among the participants of the Uzbekistan delegation is Sayfuddin Yakhyaev, Deputy Director of Zarqand Shirinliklari LLC (ZARQAND brand).

ZARQAND (https://zarqand.uz/) is one of the dynamically growing confectionery manufacturers in Uzbekistan, operating since 2006.

Today, the company represents:

  • over 40 types of confectionery products;
  • well-established and efficient production and logistics processes;
  • export geography covering 7+ countries:
  • Kazakhstan, ???????? Kyrgyzstan, ???????? Tajikistan,
  • Turkmenistan, ???????? Afghanistan, ???????? Azerbaijan, ???????? Bulgaria;
  • steady annual export growth of around 20%.
Uzbek Leasing International JSC has been cooperating with Zarqand Shirinliklari LLC since 2014, consistently supporting the company’s development and modernization.

During this period:

• 7 joint projects have been implemented;
• total financing amounted to:
— €1.47 million;
— $552 thousand;
— over 3.2 billion UZS.

Within the framework of these projects:
  • modern production lines were financed (Czech Republic, China, Turkey, Italy);
  • advanced technological solutions were implemented;
  • Islamic financing projects (Murabaha — a cost-plus sale agreement allowing deferred payment for raw materials) were executed;
  • stable supply of raw materials and continuity of production processes were ensured.
